Fort Lauderdale, Florida – December 4, 2006 –  Congratulations go to Sidelines Team #3 and Team #4, who won first and second place in the 2006 Q Ball Pool Leagues’ summer season finals recently held at the club on Tuesday, November 28, 2006. This was Sidelines Sports Bar’s first sponsorship of a gay community sports team. As sponsor of four out of the league’s sixteen teams, winning 1st and 2nd place resulted in Sidelines being awarded two trophies, which are now prominently displayed at the bar.

The Q Ball Pool League is Fort Lauderdale's gay billiard league for men and women. Games are played every Tuesday night at various bars in the Fort Lauderdale area - including Wilton Manors and Oakland Park. The league emphasizes friendly competition and provides each player, regardless of skill, the opportunity to have a good time and makes new friends. Look for the next season to begin around the middle of January, 2007.
