Fort Lauderdale, Florida – September 6, 2006 – “The Sidelines Strikers”, one of three of Sidelines Sports Bar’s sponsored bowling teams, captured first place in the Sunday Fun League at Manor Lanes. Congratulations go out to team members Chris Knapp and Steve Lavoie who won the award based on the combination of their averages and best handicap games. Chris, an avid bowler, enjoys the sport as both recreation and relaxation. Steve, the novice of the two, likes the league’s competition and meeting new friends.

The Sunday Fun League is one of the three all gay bowling leagues in Ft. Lauderdale and is sanctioned by the United States Bowling Congress’ (USBC). The two other bowling leagues, the Monday Knights and the Wednesday Mixers, are open to both men and women.
