In teaming up with the Florida Gay Rodeo Association (FGRA), Sidelines has sponsored two popular speed events for riders and horses, the Men’s Flag Racing event and the Women’s Pole Bending contest. Winners will be awarded the coveted buckle by scoring the most points over the two day competition.

The 2007 Sunshine Stampede estimates that over 5,000 contestants (cowboys and cowgirls) and their fans will descend upon Dania, Davie and Ft. Lauderdale to compete in this time-honored celebration of our western heritage. The Florida Gay Rodeo includes a wide range of rough stock and speed events, including bull riding, bronc riding, steer riding, barrel racing, flag racing, and pole bending, to name a few.
