Fort Lauderdale, Florida – March 30, 2008 - Sidelines Sports Bar is proud to announce its first “Employee of the Quarter”. Evan Linette, a Sidelines bartender, was the first recipient of the quarterly award given to employees of the popular Wilton Manors’ nightclub. The owners and management of Sidelines kicked off the year last January by announcing this award as a means to single out deserving staff who have demonstrated an excellent work ethic, company loyalty, and a team player attitude.

Evan began as a member of the Sidelines team over a year ago as a bar back. His hard work, principled behavior and job performance convinced owners Marty Kildea and Laurie Whittaker that he was deserving of being promoted to the position of a Sidelines bartender, which he has taken on and exceeded all expectations. As a true sports fan, Evan enjoys baseball, football and the beach, but his true passion is diving and as a member of the Fort Lauderdale Diving Team, he earned many trophies in both national and international diving competitions.

In presenting the award certificate, which will be displayed at the bar, and the substantial bonus to Evan, Marty sounded a bit like a proud father, “we are so very proud of Evan, he exemplifies everything that Laurie and I deem important to be an employee at Sidelines – hard working, dedication to success, and a good team attitude!”
