Press Release 02/13/08
SIDELINES’ SPORTS BRIEF SUPER NIGHT FOR FOOTBALL FANS! The New York Giants’ thrilling win over the New England Patriots was the most watched Super Bowl ever, according to TV and media researchers. Similarly, the gay community in South Florida came out to Sidelines Sports Bar en mass to witness the much-heralded championship game and enjoy the festivities with friends and lovers. Gay sports enthusiasts showed their true colors by donning their team jerseys and were treated to a super deluxe buffet, a free Sidelines t-shirt, and a quarterly raffle for prizes and other giveaways. Half of the patrons at Sidelines cheered for the Giants while the other half rooted for the Patriots. No brawls ensued, thank goodness! “ATHLETE OF THE YEAR” AWARD STILL WITHIN REACH! Nominations for the Sports Out Loud’s 2008 Athlete of the Year Award are soon to be closed.
