Fort Lauderdale, Florida – January 9, 2007– The Fort Lauderdale Invitation Regional Tournament (F.L.I.R.T.) for gay bowlers is coming to our community between January 12 – 14, 2007. The tournament’s committee is expecting over 200 bowlers plus their partners and friends from all over the country to descend upon Fort Lauderdale during this coming weekend. The annual tournament, a popular event for gay bowlers, is taking place at Don Carter Tamarac Lanes.

Sidelines Sports Bar is proud to be one of the event’s sponsors as well as being represented by one of the participating teams. At the conclusion of the tournament and following the awards ceremonies, Sidelines Sports Bar will be hosting the Closing Party on Sunday, January 14, 2007 at 9:30 PM. for all participants. Raffles for prizes and bar tabs will be provided during the tournament and the club’s popular beer bucket special will be available from noon to close.
